Automatic Tree Breast Height Diameter Estimation from Laser Mobile Mapping Data in an Urban Context

This study focuses on developing an innovative methodology to automatically estimate the diameter at breast height (DBH) of urban trees sampled by a Laser Mobile Mapping System (LMMS). The high-quality results confirm the feasibility of the proposed methodology, providing scalability to a comprehensive analysis of urban trees.
